Reciprocity Of Contributions:

If you worked out of the jurisdiction of BAC Local #1, NY during 2011, please contact the Hours Department at the Fund Office and advise them of where you worked so they can request reciprocity of your benefits. Be reminded that the only benefits that are reciprocated are Pension, Welfare and Annuity. Hours received are converted to BAC Local #1, NY rates.


Vacation Checks:

Vacation checks were issued in mid November.

Medical Coverage for Children under age 26:

Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Bricklayers Insurance & Welfare Fund must cover participant’s children under age 26 beginning January 1, 2011. A letter to this effect and an application for enrollment was mailed to all eligible participants in the Insurance and Welfare Fund on November 30, 2010. These applications had to be completed and returned to the Fund Office no later than December 31, 2010 to be eligible for enrollment in plan.
